It’s so easy to live under a rock. To a certain extent I do this. It’s so easy to believe someone else is taking care of everything, the American government, God, your parents, some crazy conspiracy theory. And it’s difficult to wake up. To realize that, individually, we have the power. But once we “wake up” where do we look? Where is the truth?

P.S. Have you heard about the sociologist professor at NMU who offered extra credit to attend the Occupy Marquette march? I’m in her class now and would love the opportunity to speak to you about it.
I did not hear about the professor, but I was talking to Justin yesterday about MQT OWS! We had a debate about it (he thinks it’s a useless movement, and I argued that he was too cynical to be any good haha) – I’d love to talk to you about it – let’s get together.
And you ask a great question – where do we go to create change once we wake up – the only conclusion I’ve come to on the subject is that change must start small, whether in business, politics, or education. It starts with the individual making some noise. Then many individuals. And then we need that LEADER.
